I have just bought at DV Camcorder..?
Ok I need a software in which I can put my DV in the CD/DVD drive or plug my computer into the drive and transfer my video to this program to edit. Can someone give me a good forum website or maybe a detailed answer to my question? I think I need more than just a program. I don’t know….very confused right now.

You can do it with XP's built-in Windows Movie Maker too. With it, you just plug your camera via cable into either ieee1394 (firewire) or USB2.0, open the application, then select the "capture video" option and then you'll be given a choice to select your DVCam.
