What type of lens and accessories to buy for this camera, mostly for landscape pictures.?

What type of lenses would be good for this camera? And is this camera a good deal, and worth it?
The Canon 10-22mm EF-S or the Tamron 10-24mm lenses would both be an excellent choice for a landscape photographer. The Tamron is very reasonably-priced, as well.
The other two accessories that are basically must-have items for a landscape photographer are a sturdy tripod and a circular polarizing filter (not just a regular polarizing filter). A cable-release doesn’t hurt either. And I would look into getting a nice camera bag. Tamrac, Lowepro, Domke, Kata, and Tenba all make great bags.
That is a reasonable price for a Rebel T2i, as Canon is running rebates on that camera right now. This means that everywhere has the same price unless you go gray market. So it would be better to get the camera at your local camera store. Not only will they have it for the same price as online, they can help you find the right tripod, polarizer, lens(es), bag(s), etc. for your needs and budget. Furthermore, they will likely let you try out the lenses I mentioned above and see which one you like better. And I can’t speak for other stores, but where I work, we can give people some good deals when they buy all of this kind of stuff together. Slap on the fact that you don’t have to wait for shipping, and you’re in business.
