I have a Sony DVD Handycam, you know, any good editing software for that?
I have had during this camcorder and I can not seem to find any editing software. I find things that the copy or duplicate the mini-DVD but they can never seem to edit it. Should I Vegas Movie Studio + DVD 6.0? If the software is good for Vegas DVD camcorder? It would help a lot! Thanks
To all DVD Handycam owners who wish to edit! I have answered this question several times …. What you need, it is the camcorder to EDIT MODE before recording onto the hard disk. This will create "files". Yes, Files that can be edited. ————————— Since you already recorded on a standard DVD, I have the answer, and this will work for you. Download a program called ChopperXP, click here. It's FREE! Use http://www.inchwest.com/digital-miner.com/chopperxp.html ChopperXP to any or all scenes of the VOB files on your DVD. Save the scenes on your hard disk. However, you must rename these new VOB files such as MPG files (*. mpg), after you save. Now they can be edited with most editors. You can convert. Whatever you need to do. The next time you look in the menu settings of your DVDcamcorder and see if there is a feature called "Edit Mode" (to be called may be slightly different when it's not a SONY HandiCam). Place a fresh, new DVD in the camcorder one. In this mode, set, your DVDs now DATA disks, the storage of video files that can be edited. The DVD may still be completed be, depending on weather you have DVD + R or DVD-R Good news. You can play that DVD data disc in most newer DVD players (but no chapter).
